Tie Dye Coffee Filter Sun Catcher

How do you like our Tie Dye Coffee Filter Sun catchers we made yesterday? We are in the middle of moving and I have packed everything that's makes our home feel cozy. I thought that making these would be perfect to hang up temporarily and I can just throw them away when we actually move. Yes, I said throw away!!! Naturally, I want to hold onto everything my little artist creates, but I am slowly loosening up on the "everything" part! I figure that it's on our blog and is not gone forever.

He colored with markers on a coffee filter and then used a paint brush to "paint" water over the marker. It was so neat to see all the colors run together!

His finished product.

I also colored one so he could see the colors run together even better.

The above is the finished wet picture and the below image is the finished dry picture.

I hung them up in the windows with scotch tape.
Be sure to check out the tie dye coffee filter butterfly we made awhile back!
