Homemade Number Boards~ Learning to Count

One of my son's favorite activities this past year has been counting in both English and Spanish (he can already count to 39!) so I knew these Homemade Number Boards I saw over at Mom Tried It would be a fun way for him to practice counting.

To make the Number Boards, I used foam sheets that I purchased from the dollar store awhile back. For the circles, I traced a nickel with permanent black marker and then wrote the corresponding number on. He loves to play with rocks, so I gave him some of the decorative ones (that I have no use for anyway!) to place inside the circles while he counts. He has fun switching back and forth between counting in both English and Spanish!
