The Color Brown {Crafts, Activities, & Foods}

For our next Learning About Colors Themed Day, I chose to do the Color Brown since it ties in perfectly with Thanksgiving & Fall.

BROWN CRAFTS

My son made a Brown Collage using buttons, scrap pieces of fabric, thread, construction paper, & ribbon.

He colored an Itsy Bitsy  Brown Book that I printed from the Kidzone Preschool section.

We made Thumbprint Owls.

From his giant coloring book, he colored a Bear Coloring Page.

BROWN ACTIVITIES

He wore Brown Clothes. Can you tell that he loves to pose for the camera?!

From his Melissa and Doug Lace & Trace Set, he did the Dog & Rabbit Lacing Cards. His card usually end up looking like a spider's web when he finishes it... lol!

We watched an Interactive Online Story of Goldilocks & the Three Bears. This is neat because it prompts them to interact with the story. For example: Click on each one of the bowls to count them. My little guy LOVES to use the mouse- great practice for his fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
