We had a family movie night last week and watched the movie Polar Express. This is my little guy's 1st year watching the movie. He never paid attention to it before, but this year he loved it! He wore his train shirt during the day & later, changed into pj's to go with the pajama theme of the movie. Papa set up his train around the tree which my son thought was so much fun! We also turned off the lights and just had our Christmas tree lights on since the movie takes place in the nighttime.
For Polar Express-themed crafts, we made this jingle bell necklace and he painted a wooden train ornament that he received from St Nick.
For a movie-related snack, I made a graham cracker train with M&M's, whipped cream, frosting with a tip, and a candy corn. We drank hot chocolate with it since they serve hot chocolate to the kids in the movie..
