My son and I have been busy making these adorable Toilet Paper Tube Halloween Characters- a fun craft for kids and the perfect Halloween decoration! I held each one up for my son to paint. He did such an awesome job painting. He said that he was an expert painter- so cute!
Toilet Paper Tube Monster
He glued on googly eyes & foam stickers, then drew on a monster mouth. I glued on antennas made from pipe cleaners.
Toilet Paper Tube Black Cat
I had pink foam stickers for my little guy to stick on, but construction paper would also work. I cut 6 strips of white paper for him to glue on as whiskers. I painted the mouth on this one.
Toilet Paper Tube Mummy
I had my son paint a little black area and then glue on eyes when it dries. Then he tore up toilet paper into little strips. We used glue diluted with water (or use Mod Podge) to paint the tube. Next he stuck on the strips of toilet paper. Lastly, he used a paintbrush to brush the glue/water mixture over the top of everything (I had to help him a little with this part).
Toilet Paper Tube Handprint Bat
Check out my other blog to see how we made this one!
Toilet Paper Tube Frankenstein Craft
This one turned out so stinkin' cute! After the green paint dried, I drew a hairline and my little guy painted that area with black paint. He is almost 4, of course you could skip drawing a line for older kids. He glued on a gray bead on each side of the head. I drew on the nose, mouth, & a little stitch scar.
Toilet Paper Tube Pumpkin
My son painted this one and I did the rest. The stem is a square piece of green construction paper.
Toilet Paper Tube Ghost Craft
My son used his fingerprints for the eyes and thumbprints for the mouth. I am impressed with the great job he did- I was expecting smears! I cut little triangles from the bottom.
Toilet Paper Tube Scarecrow
I saw this idea on Pinterest and loved it! Check out Busy Bee Kids Crafts for the tutorial. We painted ours so my son could be more involved with it.
Toilet Paper Tube Witch
To make the hair, cut slits into a small, rectangle-shaped piece of black paper. Glue to the top. To make the hat, make a cone shape and either tape or glue together and then glue it to the top of the tube. Use the toilet paper tube to trace a circle shape and cut out a rim shape. Press it into place.
